District IV / Art Show Package

Information —
Controlled the whole concept & direction of District 4 Art show held in Los Angeles, CA featuring 4 artist from the city of Highland Park. Atomic Element | Delf | Delta Element | Willie Will. Several logos were created to match each direction from posters to video to web. The main logo to represent the show was used in several form factors to present the show. A short film was made and put together to represent the story behind the city where the artist were raised. Posters were designed to portray the urban side of the city with a clean cut font running down to give a propaganda feel. Several posters were also made using the artist’s image with the top half cut off to give a mystery as to who they are. Finally a website was built to present the video/invitation & info to the art show. It will also be used to sell the art work presented at the show & show photos from the event.

Website was built on the WordPress platform & carefully designed by Atomic Element.
Using Neuzeit Grotesk, Times New Roman & Helvetica.

Dove Shore

Information —
To design an identity & website for photographer Dove Shore. Client requested both the identity and site mirror an editorial feel. With the identity we agreed on going with a minimalistic & structured look, by adding a line that goes through the name it visually balances out as a whole. When approaching the site it was necessary to have the site flow as if it were the index to a magazine. Adding just the titles to each section gave the site a much cleaner look unveiling the actual content when the title is selected. The blog section of the site was an opportunity to invert the colors and give it a more journal-like feel to it.

To design an identity & website for The Los Angeles Photography School. Client requested the site feel very clean and minimal. Black, white, and gold as color choices it gave the site a relaxing wide open space feel to the site. Using space and organization the structure of the site lays out seamlessly. The identity of the school was based upon the idea of a photo studio structure with high ceilings.

To design a website for photographer Delta Element. The idea behind the site was to give a lightbox or table, to have the feeling as if the photos were put on the table to be reviewed. The site is built off of the grid system allowing the site to randomly show different layouts of the images every time the front page of the site is visited. The clients Tumblr & Cargo were designed to mirror the style of the site to have cohesion. Making the website flexible allowed for iPad and iPhone users to view it comfortably.

Design an identity and website for Everyday Clouds. The Everyday Clouds identity was based on the idea of having an everyday thought to share with others. The cloud represents personal art of the client & things that inspire the client. The site was designed to express a “mood board” feel, where the client can simply post notes/references/personal artwork/etc.
